Gustaf Anderson was born in Sweden, March 26, 1824. He came to America in 1857; settled in Chicago; remained two months; then went to Rockford, Ill., and lived there from 1858 to 1869, and then came to Worth county and settled on section 14, Deer Creek township. He has 480 acres of good land, with fine buildings, grove and home. He was married Oct. 3, 1850, to Charlotte Olinder. They have six children – Oscar, Charles, Wilhelm, Frank, Robert and Edwin. In politics he is a republican.
