Robert Leedle was born in Yorkshire, England, Dec. 25, 1839. He is a miller by trade, and has worked at the business twenty-six years, and was interested in a mill at Osage for six years, and also the Otranto mill six years. He was married Dec. 10, 1861, to Agnes Gait, born in Scotland. They have had six children— Jesse, Joseph, Hugh, Bertie, Lorin and Frank. They live in Deer Creek township. In politics he is a democrat. He has held several local offices.
