Andrea (Snave) Kingery

June 6, 1944 - September 22, 2024

Andrea (Snave) Kingery passed away on September 22, 2024, in Beverly Hills CA after a chronic pneumonia-related illness. We are devastated in losing her. Her beautiful soprano singing voice, kindness, loyalty and great sense of humor are just some of our treasured memories.

Andy was born on D-Day, June 6th, 1944, the third of four girls in Sioux City, Iowa. She attended Whittier Elementary, East Junior High and East High schools.

Andrea is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Charlotte Snave. She is survived by her sisters, DeAnna Mackey, Pam Case (Steve), and Lindley Montoya (Keith), niece Tara Marshall, nephews Christopher Case (Julie), Brian Case, Jonathan Case (Sarah), Alex Montoya (Christina), and Vincent Montoya (Suzana) and 15 great nieces and nephews, whom she loved and of whom she was so proud.

After getting her BA at Cal State Long Beach, she worked for 45 years in various positions including the IRS, the Department of Labor, and independently as a pension planner auditor. Andrea sang in several local choirs for 40 years. She was a beloved daughter, a beloved sister, a beloved aunt and a very caring person who will be deeply missed by family and friends. Rest in peace, Andy.
