Constance Katherine "Connie" Hagey, age 79, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, in Middleton, Wis. She was born on July 19, 1945, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Allison Lorraine (O'Leary Hallstrom) Hagey. She lived most of her life in Sioux City. Connie graduated from Central High School. She married George Kueny and they had three boys.

She became an RN after attending Briarcliff College. She went back to school while raising her three boys to obtain her master's in nursing from Creighton University. She worked many jobs in the field, but her favorite was in Public Health as a School Nurse/School Liaison for Irving Elementary School, the very school she attended as a child.

Connie had a large collection of celebrity autographs, many written out in her name. She enjoyed watching old movies, and even attended the Academy Awards ceremony one year. Connie was an Elvis fan and loved collecting Wizard of Oz memorabilia. She also loved solving the Sioux City Journal Crossword every day, and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Connie is survived by her sons, George (Diane) Kueny, Michael Kueny (Melanie Olsen) and Daniel (LaDonna) Kemper-Kueny; two grandchildren, Adam (Tara) Kueny and Natalie (Carson) Tuttle; and two brothers, Frank Hagey and Robert Hagey. She was preceded in death by her parents.
