28 November 1990Mapleton, Iowa-- Albin B. Kleine, 82, of Mapleton was found dead at his home Monday, Nov. 26, 1990.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic church in Mapleton, with the Rev. John Brennan officiating. Burial will be in the Danbury Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. at Walter Funeral Home in Mapleton.
Mr. Kleine was born Sept. 18, 1908, in Danbury, the son of Bernard and Elizabeth (Wessling) Kleine. He grew up in the Danbury community. On Oct. 7, 1929, he married Mildred McLarty at Danbury. He farmed four miles southeast of Danbury. He was a truck driver for Collins Feed Store and also for other truckers. He lived in Sioux City for a short time and moved to Mapleton in 1970.
Mr. Kleine was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Mapleton.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Rose and Ronald Wonder of Battle Creek; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Robert and Libbie of Riverside, Calif., Richard and Delores of Anaheim, Calif., Kenneth and Kathie of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Roger of Kingman, Ariz., a sister, Lonie Ortner of Mapleton; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by six sisters, a brother, a daughter and a granddaughter.
