Mildred R. Forch, 86, died February 21, 1994, at Correctionville. Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 23, 1994, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anthon with Rev. Gerald Zensen officiating. Burial was in Mt. St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Anthon under direction of Walter-Armstrong Funeral Service.

Mildred Ruth Forch was born October 15, 1907, in Correctionville, the daughter of Carl and Florence (Coon) Smith. She married George Forch June 27, 1928, in Sioux City. She lived her entire life in the Correctionville and Anthon area and moved into Anthon in 1947. Mildred was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anthon.

Survivors include her husband, George, 2 sons, Gerald and Sally of Oto, and Roger of Moville, a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Barbara) Gothier of Sioux City, 3 sisters, Bonnie Phillips and Dorothy Lage both of Moville, Mrs. Charles (Evelyn) Fortner of Brazil, IN, a brother and wife, Raymond and Lois Smith of Ida Grove, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded by a son, Daniel, a granddaughter, Shelly L. Forch, 2 brothers, Wilbur and Donald Smith, and 2 sisters, Lila Livermore and Vera Fisher.

Burial: 23 February 1994, Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery, Anthon, Woodbury Co., Iowa
