William B. Dicus Sr. 79, 1120 24th St., died Monday in the Indian Hills Care Center where he had been a resident since last Friday.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Msgr. Edward C. Lilly, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at Anthon, Iowa, under direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. The rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Dicus was born March 30, 1899, at Anthon.

He married Mary H. Murphy Oct. 25, 1934, at Anthon. They farmed in the Anthon vicinity for many years before coming to Sioux City in 1951. He worked at the St. Joseph Hospital until illness forced his retirement in 1957. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
