Grace C. Cole, 99, of Altoona, Iowa, formerly of Anthon, Iowa and Sioux City, died Saturday at Mertcy Hospital in Des Moines.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Cemetery in Anthon. Altoona Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Grace C. Cole, 99, of Altoona Manor Care Center, 200 Seventh Ave. S.W., Altoona, died of a heart ailment Saturday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at noon Tuesday at Altoona Funeral Home, with burial at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Anthon.

Mrs. Cole was born in Woodbury County and lived in Altoona since 1978. She was a retired assembler at Windcharger Co. in Sioux City.

Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie McCaskey of Anita; three sons, Richard of Altoona, Marvin of Ridgely, Tenn., and Robert of Fresno, Calif.; a sister, Edna Gothier of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association.
