ANTHON, Iowa - Joseph A. Chausse, 92, Anthon, died Nov. 29 at a Correctionville Nursing Home, where he had resided about eight months.

Services will be at 10 a. m. Dec. 3 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Anthon, with the Rev. J. G. Skahill officiating. Burial will be in Mount St. Joseph Cemetery, with the Walter Funeral Home, Anthon, in charge. The rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at the funeral home.

Mr. Chausse was born Nov. 17, 1883, in Anthon and lived here all his life. He married Ethel Goodman March 3, 1919, in Anthon. She died in 1943. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a retired farmer.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Frances) Sawin of Anthon; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Foley and Miss Mary Chausse, both of Anthon.
