SHELDON, Iowa - Thomas Castle, 25, of Sheldon, University of Iowa student, died Saturday in an accident at Iowa City.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sheldon. Monsignor Thomas Donahoe will officiate. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in St. Joseph's Cemetery at Anthon. The rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Tuesday by the Legion of Mary, at 7 p.m. by the Catholic Daughters of America and the Guild and at 7:30 p.m. by the parish in the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home at Sheldon.

Mr. Castle was born May 28, 1959, in Spencer. He graduated from Sheldon High School in 1977.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Castle of Sheldon; one sister, Mrs. Kevin (Ann) Lohela of Minneapolis: three brothers, Dan of Greene, Kevin and Vince, both of Iowa City; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Marie Fitzpatrlck of Sheldon and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Loretta Castle of Fort Wayne, Ind.
