After an illness of several weeks, M E. Carr, south of town, died Friday. March 25, 1910, at the age of 58 years. He leaves a wife and nine children. The home place comprises 300 acres of valuable land.

Mr. Carr, was one of the most popular men in his community and during his illness solicitous friends offered their services in every way possible to assist him.

The funeral was held in Anthon on Monday and is said to have been the most largely attended of any funeral ever held there. Father Kelly of the Catholic church had charge.
