Solomn Requim High Mass was celebrated for Mrs. Lowell Burnham, Thursday, June 4, 1964, from the St. Michael's Catholic Church at Kingsley, Iowa at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. Robert J. Walters, a first cousin from Fort Dodge, Rev. A. M. Conlon and Rev. Raymond Wieling of Kingsley officiating.

Master of Ceremonies was Mr. Jim Slater of Ft. Dodge acolytes were Joe Cole, Timothy Timmons and Michael Behrens of Kingsley.

Cross bearer was Rev. A. M. Conlon of Anthon and casket bearers were Clarence Barwick, Jr., Delbert McQueen, Walter Borgeson. Dale Nafe, Milo Noble and Walter Slota.

The rosary was recited at 8 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at the Wilson-Hull Funeral Home in Correctionville. Interment was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at Anthon, Iowa under the direction of Wilson-Hull Funeral Home, Correctionville.

Mrs. Burnham passed away at Sioux Valley Hospital, Cherokee, Iowa, Monday morning, June 1, following a six months illness.

Ida Kathleen Burnham, daughter of Paul and Mary Ann Flemming was born December 27, 1915 at Correctionville, Iowa. She received her early education in a rural school and graduated from Correctionville High school in 1936. She also attended Wayne State Teachers College. She taught in rural schools nine years before her marriage.

On May 16, 1945 she was united in marriage to Lowell Burnham at Anthon, Iowa. They lived on farms their entire married life in the Correctionville and Pierson communities. She was baptized and confirmed at Anthon and was now a member of St. Michael's Catholic church in Kingsley and of the Ladies Guild.

Mrs. Burnham is survived by her husband, Lowell; seven daughters, Janice, Adeile, Beverly, Anita, Lynette, Marcell and Shari, and three sons, Wayne, Larry and Mark, all at home.

Her father, Paul Fleming of Correctionville, two sisters, Irene, Mrs. Stoltz Hart of Correctionville and Vivian, Mrs. John Sevening of Cushing; four brothers, Leo of Dallas, Texas and Clarence, Gerold and Wilfred all of Correctionville.

She was preceded in death by her mother and two sisters.
