Lowell D. "Tony" Schager, 83, of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online condolences may be directed to meyerbroschapels.com.

Lowell was born the son of Lloyd and Ella (Konegni) Schager on April 3, 1939, in Bronson, Iowa. He graduated from Bronson High School. Tony married Norma Donnell on March 23, 1963. They enjoyed 59 years together. Tony worked at Williams TV for 32 years and retired in 2002 having never missed a day of work.

Tony was a lifelong Packers and Dodgers fan. He enjoyed reading on the patio with his wife and traveling around the country with her checking out new sights. Tony loved having his children and grandchildren at the house, enjoying their company.

Tony honorably served his country in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1961.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Norma Schager of Sioux City; children, William (Ann Marie) Schager, James (Dani) Schager, and Ryan (Melisa) Schager; grandchildren, Kendra, Kaitlin, Kadin, Linsi, Rylee, and Karlie; great-grandsons, Greyson and Arlo; brother, Dean (Mary) Schager; sisters-in-law, Peg Schager and Margaret Schager; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dale "Punk" and Buell "Buzz"; sister, Beverly; and parents-in-law, John and Mabel Donnell.
