Mrs. Paul Beeson, 75, Washta, Iowa, died January 28, 1972, at the Sioux Valley Hospital in Cherokee of a 10-day illness.

Funeral 11 a.m. January 31, St. John Catholic Church in Quimby with Rev. Thomas Nash officiating. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery, Anthon, under direction of Greenwood Funeral home of Cherokee.

Born March 17, 1896, in Anthon, the former Mabel Coon was married October 30, 1912, in Oto, Iowa. Mr. Beeson died October 19, 1965, at Cherokee. She had lived at Washta since 1932. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary at Washta.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Beulah Cook of Loup City, Nebraska, a son Darrell of Washta; brothers Ray and Albert Coon of Sioux City, sisters Mrs. Mary Hayworth of Anthon, Mrs. John Pierce and Mrs. Iva Hayworth of Sioux City; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Burial: 31 January 1972, Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery, Anthon, Woodbury Co., Iowa
