Graveside rites for Mrs. Lucy Beebe, who died Thursday, January 10, 1963, at Kansas City, Missouri, after a brief illness, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 14, at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Anthon, under direction of Walter Funeral Home. Father A.M. Conlon officiated.

Ms. Beebe was the daughter of the late J.O. and Mary Jerman, pioneer residents of the Lucky Valley community. She was born at Lucky Valley on April 8, 1887. She had made her home at Kansas City the past 26 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mary Kazner of Long Beach, California; one brother, Walter Jerman of Denison; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by three sisters and one brother.
