Mary Beaubien, 78, a resident of Anthon 72 years, died unexpectedly Thursday at the home of a sister, Mrs. Addie Adler, in Anthon.

Miss Beaubien was born September 23, 1875, at Jefferson, South Dakota.

Surviving her are two sisters, Mrs. Adler and Lena Beaubien, also of Anthon.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Anthon with Rev. Father A.H. Ocken of Mapleton officiating. Burial was in Mt. St. Joseph's cemetery under direction of Hudgel Funeral Home.
