7 August 1946Frank Beaubien of Washington, D.C., died there Monday night, August 5, 1946, after a lengthy illness. The remains were brought to Anthon for Burial

14 August 1946Military rites were included in the funeral services held at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Francis Beaubien, 76, Spanish-American War veteran, who died at a Veteran's Hospital in Washington, D.C., on Monday, July 5, 1946. Rev. A. Conlon officiated at the services and burial was in Mt. St. Joseph's Cemetery at Anthon.
Mr. Beaubien was born September 19, 1869.
Survivors include four sisters, Lena, Mary and Alvina Beaubien and Mrs. Addie Adler, and one brother, Alphonse, all of Anthon.
The body was shipped to Hudgel's Funeral Home.
