GEORGE O. THRANE

A resident of Sioux City for the last 30 years, George O. Thrane, 72, 317 Sparks Street, died Tuesday night in a hospital following a heart attack suffered earlier in the day. Mr. Thrane was a painter at the Martin hotel.

He was born in Denmark May 21, 1871. He came to America 40 years ago, first residing in Omaha. He married Emma Rue in Sioux City in October of 1923.

Mr. Thrane to a member of Our Savior's Lutheran church and painters' union 214.

Survivors include the widow and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran church. Burial will be in Graceland Park cemetery, under direction of the Westcott- Doughty-Chandler funeral home.
