Mrs. J. J. Sullivan went to Sioux City last Saturday where she submitted to an operation in a hospital early Sunday morning. Mrs. Sullivan was to weak to withstand the shook and died soon as the operation was performed. The remains were brought to Anthon Monday.

Mrs. John Sullivan whose home was south of this place toward Anthon died in a Sioux City hospital Sunday following an operation for appendicitis. The case was a serious one and she removed to the hospital Saturday. The remains were brought home Monday. Her husband is a brother of P. M. Sullivan near this town.
