Mrs. Cecelia Marie Christiansen, 74, died Tuesday morning in her home, 400 S. Howard Street, after a heart attack.

She was born December 19, 1871 in Denmark, and came to America at the age of 18. She first resided in Jackson County, la. She was married at the age of 21 to Fred G. Christiansen who died 31 years ago.

Surviving are a son, Lars, and a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Clausen, both of Sioux City; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The W. Harry Christy funeral home in Morningside has charge of arrangements.
