A resident here for the last 12 years, Albert A. Woosley, 72, died Tuesday morning in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Harry G. Cownie, 1005,20th street, following a brief illness. He formerly resided in Omaha. He was born in Shellville, Tenn April 11, 1871.
Surviving besides the daughter are eight sons, Albert, Clyde and Jack of Omaha, Henry of Aurelia, Neb., Scott of New York city, Thomas of Los Angeles and Joe and Kenneth, both in the armed forces; two other daughters, Mrs. Gladys Ries of Los Angeles and Florence (Sister - Honoria); a brother, J. E. Woosley and a sister, Mrs. B.E. Clark, both of Qmaha, and nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Directing arrangements is the Westcott - Doughty - Chandler funeral home.
