1 December 1943Donald C. Hemstreet, 34, of Newcastle, Neb., died Monday night in a Sioux City hospital after an extended illness.
He was born April 17, 1909 in Emerson, Neb., and was a welder.
Surviving are his widow and two sons, Harry Don and Jerry Jim of Newcastle: his mother, Mrs. Edith Hemstreet, and sister Mrs. George Fitch, both of Sioux City.
The body is at the Nelson Berger funeral home pending arrangements.
