Frank Lewis Richardson, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. L.G. Richardson, was born near Correctionville December 3, 1872. He passed away at his home here about 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning, September 12, 1942, at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 10 days.

On March 1, 1900, he was united in marriage to Aurilla Moon of Correctionville. They established their home on a farm near Correctionville where they lived until 1909 when they moved to Lake Andes, where they resided until 1933. At that time they returned to our community again.

About 1935 Mr. Richardson's health began to fail but he continued to farm until 1938 when he was forced by ill health to give up farming and at that time the family moved into the town of Correctionville. He has been bedfast since November 22, 1941, during which time he has had the devoted care of his wife. His condition did not become critical until Thursday evening and his life came to a close Sunday morning.

He is survived by his widow, three sons, Lowell of Pando, Colorado, Archie of Armour, South Dakota, and Floyd of Correctionville, one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Fullerton of Correctionville, three sisters, Mrs. Ira Burnham of Cherokee, Mrs. Lottie Hathaway of Pierson and Mrs. Irene Severns of Albuquerque, New Mexico, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held at the Wilson-Hull Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. with Rev. B.H. Coonradt, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating. Interment was made in Good Hope Cemetery.
