17 August 1905L.D. Dutton, who was operated on for cancer a couple of weeks ago, died at the hospital in Des Moines last Thursday. The remains were shipped to Cushing last Friday and were interred in Bethel Cemetery southwest of town Saturday afternoon in the presence of a number of relatives from Clinton Co., Iowa, and a large number of friends and acquaintances.
He leaves a wife and child, the youngest of the family being born only three days before the death of the father.
