LAWTON, Iowa - G. Mae (Wolf) Eberly, 66, of Lawton died Monday, Aug. 4, 1997, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Community Presbyterian Church in Lawton, with Dr. Robert E. Peters officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Christy, Smith and Hockenberry Funeral Home.

Mrs. Eberly was born May 19, 1931, in South Sioux City. She graduated from South Sioux City High School.

She married Francis Eberly on Nov. 7, 1953, in Elk Point. The couple made their home in Lawton.

She was employed at the Palmer House for 18 years and for Mid-Step Services for nine years.

Survivors include her husband; two sons and their wives, Dennis and Debra and Dale and Vicki, all of Sioux City; seven grandchildren, Chad, Chuck, Kristi, Ginny Mae, Nicholas, Stephanie and Jessica Eberly; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob Wolf and his wife, Mary, and Bill Wolf, all of South Sioux City; a sister and her husband, Bonnie and Kenneth Jones of Waterbury, Neb.; and a brother-in-law and his wife, Wayne and Annette Eberly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and a grandson.

Pallbearers will be Chad, Chuck, Wayne and Ron Eberly, Don Hair and Jim Wilson.
