14 August 1986LAWTON, Iowa -- Thomas W. Coker, 32, of Lawton died Tuesday in a construction accident in Moville.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Lawton Community Presbyterian Church. Dr. Robert E. Peter will officiate. Burial will be in Banner Township Cemetery with a graveside flag presentation conducted by Post 718, American Legion. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. in McCulloch-Wavrin Funeral Home in Moville.
Mr. Coker was born Dec. 20, 1953, in Sioux City and was a lifelong resident of Lawton. He graduated from Lawton High School in 1973. He was a truck driver and construction worker.
Mr. Coker was a member of Community Presbyterian Church. He served in the U.S. Army from 1976 to 1979.
Survivors include his parents, George and Harriet Coker of Lawton; two brothers, Richard A. of Louisville, Colo., and Donn G. of Colleyville, Texas, and a sister, Mrs. Rick (LeAnn) Hansen of Wakefield, Neb.
