Mrs. William Benson, 67, of Lawton died Saturday at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Benson, the former Stella Lill, was born Nov. 3, 1904, in Crawford County, Iowa. She was married Nov. 14, 1925, at Mapleton. They farmed near Mapleton, Battle Creek, and Oto for nine years, near Danbury 10 years, and for 28 years at their present farm home three miles southeast of Lawton.

She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church at Lawton and the Ladies Aid Society of the church.

Survivors include the widower; a son, Leslie of Lawton; two grandchildren; and a brother, Norma Lill of Le Mars, Iowa.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bethel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Maurice Ellwein will officiate. The Rev. Arnold E. Vehling will officiate at graveside services in Banner Cemetery in Lawton.

A prater service will be at 8 p.m. today at the McCulloch Funeral Home in Moville.
