ONAWA, Iowa - Mrs. Rockwell Barney, 68, of Onawa, was dead on arrival Tuesday at an Onawa hospital.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Faith Lutheran Church. The Rev. Quentin Quanbeck will officiate. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Banner Cemetery at Lawton under direction of the Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa.

Mrs. Barney, the former Lena Friedericks, was born Aug. 21, 1910, in Le Mars.

She was married to William Funck March 7, 1928, in Hendricks, Minn. They farmed at Bronson until his death in 1962.

She was married to Mr. Barney March 5, 1974, in Jefferson, S.D. They lived in the Sioux City area until 1974 and in the Onawa area the last five years.

Survivors include the widower; two daughters, Mrs. John (Betty) Lucas of Sykesville, Pa. and Mrs. Ronald (Jo Ann) Sidle of Sioux City; two sons, Leonard Funck of Morrison, Colo, and Robert Funck of Lawton; five brothers, Didrick of Whiting, Clarence of Verdi, Minn., William of Minneapolis, Minn., John of Tyler, Minn, and Merril of Anthon; three sisters, Ann Funck of Lawton, Lucille Nelson and Olivia Nelson, both of Tyler and 13 grandchildren.
