Funeral services held Friday for Mrs. E.P. Goodwill

Funeral services for Mrs. Edward P. Goodwill, 49, Bronson, were held Friday, December 20, 1974, at 1:00 p.m., at the Elliott Creek Presbyterian Church at Bronson. The Rev. Myron H.C. Brower of Morningside Presbyterian Church in Sioux City officiated. Burial was in Lawton (Bronson) Cemetery under the direction of the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside in Sioux City.

Mrs. Goodwill, the former Florence Viola Buckland, was born on January 19, 1925 at Elk Point, South Dakota. Her family moved to Kadoka, S.D. in 1928. She married Harley Amick on August 17, 1946. She moved to Bronson 16 years ago. She married Edward P. Goodwill on May 5, 1973 in North Sioux City, S.D. She had been employed at the Zenith Radio Corp. of Iowa and Sioux City for the past year and a half.

She was a member of Elliott Creek Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Goodwill died December 17 at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

Survivors include the widower; sons, David, Randy, Richard, William, Terry and Andrew Amick, all of Bronson; daughters, Mrs. Dan (Marilyn) Main of Bronson and Miss Lois Amick, at home; step-sons, Ray Goodwill of Mason City, Gary Goodwill of Yakima, Washington and Donald Goodwill of Worthington, Minn.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Robert (Trena) Hanson of Worthington; a sister, Mrs. Dale (Lucella) Vermilyea of Bronson, and her mother Mrs. Louisa Buckland of Bronson.
