Bernadine E. Watterman, 86, of Lincoln, Neb., formerly of Sioux City, died Wednesday, April 25, 2001, in Lincoln.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Bancroft Cemetery, Bancroft, Neb. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Roper and Sons Funeral Service in Lincoln.

Mrs. Watterman was born Jan. 7, 1915, in West Point, Neb., the daughter of Alvin and Massie (Wetzel) Hartline.

She and her husband, Ed, owned and operated a fruit and vegetable stand on their acreage in Sioux City from 1967 to 1977. She was also a home-maker. She moved to Lincoln in 1998.

She was a former member of Third Presbyterian Church in Sioux City.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
