12 September 1967Mrs. Fred Conner, 67, 3436 Transit Ave., died Monday at a Sioux city hospital after a six- month illness.
The former Violet McKee, she was born Dec. 29, 1899 in Sioux City and resided here her entire life. She was married to Fred Cooper in November 1922 in Sioux City. He died Jan. 23, 1963.
She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include two sons, Emery of Sioux City and Theodore of Manchester, N.H., two sisters, Mrs. Dulcie Streeby and Vivian Lesline, both of Sioux City: two brothers, Kenneth McKee of Brunswick, Conn. and LeRoy McKee of Sioux City; and three grandchildren.
The body was taken to the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside.
