Ruth Arlene Cooper Succumbs in the Methodist Hospital After Serious Illness, Funeral Satur.

God sends the lovely flowers to blossom in ur midst and some he recalls when the bud is only commencing to open to display its beauty and give forth it fragrance. The life of Ruth Cooper was one that had only begun to unfold when her master in his infinite wisdom saw fit to remove her to realms above.

Ruth Arlene Cooper was born in Wolf Creek Twp., on June 2, 1926, and passed away at the Methodist Hospital in Sioux City March 24 having reached the age of 10 years 9 months and 22 days. Death was caused by appendicitis. She had been ill for 20 days and her condition was known to be serious from the first

She was the second daughter of Armour and Maxine Elisabeth Cooper. The parents, two sisters, Betty Pauline and Virginia Lorraine Cooper; the grandparents, Elsie Cooper of Gerber, Cal., and Mr. and Mrs. John Rarick of Moville, two great- grandmothers, Mrs. Belle Thornlee and Mrs. Sarah Rarick of Moville; and an uncle, Glen Cooper of, Anderson, Cal., survive her.

Funeral services were held at the Rock Branch church Saturday afternoon, March 27, in charge of Rev. Garner Osborn, pastor of the church. Two hymns were sung by Mrs. Elmer Sadler and Mrs. Ferol Harrison with Miss Lois Flathes at the piano.

Interment was made in the Rock Branch cemetery under the direction of the Stiles Service.

Pall bearers were: Wilfred Bernard, Balwin Osborn, John and Gordon Sadler, Elmer Peterson and Fred Thompson.
