The suffering that was so intense has ended and the life of Mrs. Milton Cochran closed.

Myrtle Alice Sadler, daughter of Joseph Columbus and Ina Maude Twogood Sadler, was born at Rock Branch, Iowa, March 1, 1898, and passed away in a Sioux City hospital on October 5, 1942, aged 44 years, 7 months and 4 days.

Her early life was spent on the old home place at Rock Branch. On February 20, 1919, she was united in marriage to Milton D. Cochran. To this union two sons were born, Ronald M. and Lyle L. Cochran. She has lived at Rock Branch and Correctionville all her life except for three years in Canada.

In her early life she united with the Methodist church at Rock Branch. After moving to Correctionville, she and her husband joined the Church of Christ, of which she was a faithful member, holding the official position of Deaconess and secretary of the official board.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband of Correctionville, two sons, Ronald M. Cochran, minister of the Church of Christ at Blair, Nebraska, and Lyle L. Cochran of Correctionville, three brothers, Walter Sadler of Pierson, Elmer and Ralph both of Rock Branch, one sister, Mrs. Blanche Rasmussen of Ayrshire, Iowa, one granddaughter, Karan Louise Cochran, many other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. B.H. Coonradt, pastor of the church, officiating, assisted by Rev. Robert H. Forrester, pastor of the Methodist church and Rev. L.E. Mether of Pierson. Interment was made in the Rock Branch Cemetery under direction of Wilson-Hull service.
