CORRECTIONVILLE, Iowa - Henry Byers, 89, Correctionville, died Wednesday in a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Salem Lutheran Church, rural Correctionville. The Rev. Martin Osterloh will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Branch Cemetery under direction of the Michaelson Funeral Home of Kingsley.

Mr. Byers was born Jan. 30, 1892, at Rock Branch in Woodbury County.

He married Lottie Hinkhouse March 29, 1917, at rural Correctionville. She died in 1976.

Mr. Byers farmed most of his life in Woodbury County, retiring to Correctionville several years ago. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons, Ralph of Moville and Lloyd of Correctionville; a brother, Ben of Hinton; 11 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren
