Dale F. Behrens, 64, 921 Lewis Blvd., died Monday in a Sioux City hospital after a two-week illness.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Daniel Q. Johnson, pastor, and Vicar Dennis Heiden will officiate. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery at Rock Branch, Iowa. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. today in the Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home.

Mr. Behrens was born April 18, 1918, at Anthon, Iowa.

He married Rosella M. Schumann Sept. 26, 1948, at Midway, Iowa. He farmed in the Anthon area and lived in the Battle Creek area before moving to Sioux City in January of 1967. He worked at North American Mfg. Co. for l5 years as a machine operator.

Mr. Behrens was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dennis and Duane, both of Sioux City; three daughters, Mrs. Roger (Jeanine) Simmons, Mrs. Mike (JoAnn) Weise and Mrs. Richard (Janice) Meek, all of Sioux City; one brother, Lynne of Sioux City; two sisters, Mrs. Clyde (Lillian) Savage and Mrs. Albert (Joyce) McCormick, both of Sioux City and three grandchildren.
