20 May 1880A. A. Allburn of The Journal newsroom, yesterday received a telegram from Des Moines saying that his aunt, Mrs. Mary Meads, had died at that town at 3 A. M. that morning, and that the body would arrive in this city on the Pacific train to day for interment in a country cemetery in Floyd township. The deceased formerly resided in this city, Mr. Meads being in the employ of Lee Humbert. He is now traveling agent for Oberne, Hosick & Co.
