Mrs. John Steinhoff, 86, former Sioux City resident, died Saturday in Aberdeen, Wash., where she lived for the last three years.

Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Friday at the Hornick Methodist Church. Burial will be under the direction of the Wood Funeral Home of Sloan.

Mrs. Steinhoff, the former Maggie Alice Ferguson, was born Oct. 16, 1879, near Millersburg, Iowa. She came with her parents to Woodbury County at the age of one year. She was married March 24, 1896, at German City, Iowa to John Steinhoff. Mrs. Steinhoff had lived in Hornick, where she was a member of the Hornick Methodist Church, until moving to Washington three years ago. She joined the Cosmopolis, Wash Methodist Church in September; of this year.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Tony DeLorme of Aberdeen, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Weber and Mrs. Ruth Metcalf, and a brother, Charles, all of Hornick; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
