January 17, 1996 - January 19, 2020

Arelis Amavilia Carias-Gomez (Carrillo-Beech), age 24, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020, following her yearlong battle with small cell sarcoma cancer. Services will be held at 1:00 on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Burial will follow at Logan Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the funeral home.

Arelis was born on January 17, 1996 in Sioux City, the only daughter of five siblings to Hugo Armando Carias- Carrillo Sr and Florinda Raymundo. She graduate from North High School, class of 2014.

Arelis was a hard-working woman, very vibrant, ambitious, and determined to make a beautiful life for herself and the ones she loved. She aspired to be a loving mother, wife, and a dental hygienist. Her infectious smile would light up in entire room. Arelis was well-known and loved by many. Her favorite color was purple. You might say she was somewhat of a “foodie” and was always “whipping it up” in the kitchen. To her surprise, she was happy to have met the love of her life, Zachary Beech on April 8th, 2018. They would soon go onto get married on September 4th, 2019. Family and friends were one of her main priorities, going out of her way to do the things that mattered for the ones she loved.

Those left behind to cherish her memory: husband, Zachary Beech and step daughter, Zanayah; parents, Hugo and Florinda; siblings, Ervin (Jose), Hugo, Eric and Emanuel; best friends, Reina and Kayla.
