February 04, 1964 - January 12, 2020

Tama Jo Wittmaack, 55, of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 at a local hospital surrounded by her family. Services will be held 11:00am Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the funeral home. The family invites those in attendance to wear Iowa Hawkeye or Dallas Cowboy attire or colors.

Tama was born February 4, 1964 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Hank and Dolores (Marks) Giese. She grew up in Sioux City, Iowa and graduated from Sioux City School. Tama married Arnold Wittmaack in 1989. Together they made their home in Sergeant Bluff Luton area. They later divorced. Over the years, Tama worked as Dietary Aide in the local nursing homes. She enjoyed working with the residents. Tama also enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, Dallas Cowboys and listening to a variety of music.

She is survived by her daughter, Natasha Wittmaack of Sioux Falls, SD, son, Taylor (Maya) Wittmaack of Omaha, NE, and her nine siblings, Gary Moore of Sioux City, IA, Gene Marks of Spirit Lake, IA, Henry Giese of Texas, Romona Rygh of Lincoln, NE, Marcia McGuire of Lincoln, NE, Debra Jones of Mansfield, OH, Brenda Svatos of Omaha, NE, Sherry Roatch of Sioux City, and Terry Giese of Sioux City; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Tama is preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Mary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
