MRS. GRACE BAKER
Following a brief sickness, Mrs. Grace Baker, 33 years old, 820 West First street, died in a Sioux City hospital Saturday. She was born December 27, 1897, in Mapleton, Ia., and moved from there to Sioux City three years ago.

Surviving are her widower, Frank Baker; a son, Paul; two daughters, Ruth and Betty, all of Sioux City and her mother, Mrs. Hattie Shaver, Emerson, Neb.

The body is at Perasso Bros. funeral home pending the completion of funeral arrangements.

Dies in Sioux City

Mrs. Grace Baker, 33 years old, Sioux City resident, died in St. Joseph’s hospital in Sioux City Friday following an operation for appendicitis.

Mrs. Baker was born in Mapleton, December 27, 1897. She will be remembered here as Babe Johns. She is a second cousin of Jasper N. Etchison.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Baker; one son, Paul; and two daughters, Ruth and Betty, all of Sioux City; and her mother, Mrs. Hattie Shaver, of Emerson, Neb.

Funeral services were held Monday at Emerson.

***MARRIAGE to Frank Ellis Baker, groom & Grace Clingenpeel, bride (whose mother was Hattie Johns, father was William Clingenpeel) took place in Onawa, Iowa, on 23 Feb 1916.
