Ralph R. Carlson, 66 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at a local hospital. Services will be held 1:00pm Friday, January 15, at the Sioux City First Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army. Arrangements are under direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Ralph Roscoe Carlson was born Sunday, December 5, 1954 in Sioux City, Iowa to Darrell and Mary. He graduated from Sioux City East High School in 1973 and enrolled in the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War. He was employed in the IT department at Gateway and Sioux City Brick. He enjoyed all things involving technology (IT) and computers, watching movies, going to the casino and construction related.

Ralph is survived by his children Jamie Westfall of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Ralph (Sara McGee) Carlson of Owasso, Oklahoma, Howard Carlson of Sioux City, Iowa, Jessica (Mitchell) Miller of Sioux City, Iowa; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister Coza (Perry Fain) Huffman of Collinsville, Oklahoma; brothers Brad (Lindy Jessen) Carlson of Bronson, Iowa, Doug (Nicole) Carlson of East Helena, Montana, and Bob Carlson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Ralph was preceded in death by his mother Mary Flynn; his father Darrell Carlson; his step-father Dean Flynn; and his brother Randy Carlson.
