Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Callaghan, 76, Smithland, who died Friday after a week’s illness, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the German City Evangelical Reformed church near Holy Springs. Rev. G. T. Hallor will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Callaghan was born March 10, 1873, at Miltonsburg, O. Her husband Charles died in 1939. She was a resident of Woodbury county for 68 years.

Survivors include two sons, Earl of Oto, Ia., and Carl of Richland, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Eichhorn, Sioux City, and Mrs. Jennie Claus, Smithland; two brothers, John and Henry Weber of Hornick, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Rose, Sloan.

The Willman funeral home at Rodney, Ia., has charge of funeral arrangements.
