Jarroll L. Otto, age 78, of Sioux City, formerly of Galva, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at his residence of Sioux City. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home of Holstein with the Rev. Scott L. Neumann officiating. Burial will be at the Galva Township West Cemetery of Galva. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services starting at 9:00 AM at the Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home of Holstein. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to Mid-Step Services.

Jarroll Lee Otto was born June 18, 1942 in Storm Lake, Iowa to Harold and Eleanor (Fredericksen) Otto. While growing up, Jarroll farmed with his father and brother near Galva, Iowa.

Jarroll had been living for the past several years in Sioux City. He enjoyed bowling, watching and listening to sports on the radio and television, especially the Iowa Hawkeyes.

He is survived by his brother, Ricki (Amanda) Otto of Galva, IA; niece, Brenda (Chad) Segebart and their children, Cailey ad Keisay of Holstein, IA; nephew, Brian (Brittany) Otto and their children Bree and Boe; niece, Ellemay Otto and special friend Jesse Greenlee and their children Emery, Stefanya, Gracie, Simon, Brody and Anne of Sac City, IA; and nephew, Ethan Otto of Galva. He is also survived by his family for more than 25 years, his Mid-Step Services family and special family friend, Judy Yockey.

He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Westin Otto.
