William Lloyd Beebe, 71, Holly Springs, died Tuesday morning at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the German City United Church of Christ near Holly Springs. The Rev. Martin Knudson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of the Willman Funeral Home of Rodney, Iowa.

Mr. Beebe was born May 18, 1894, near Holly Springs. He married Rosa Steinhoff March 2, 1916. They farmed near Holly Springs until 1938 when they moved to Holly Springs.

Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Parkhill and Mrs. Charles Forney, both of Hornick; a brother, Lonnie of Sergeant Bluff; and three grandchildren.
