Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Claus, 71, of Smithland, who died Thursday at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the German City United Church of Christ. Burial will be in the church cemetery, under the direction of the Willman Funeral Home of Rodney, Iowa.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Altha Bos of Lawton, Mrs. Elda Nirenberg of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Mrs. Lucille Heinse of Anthon; two sons, Ervin of Kellogg, Iowa, and Chester of Hornick; and seven grandchildren.
