Luchsinger Rites Held at Hornick

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Luchsinger, 72, Hornick, were held Monday at the Methodist church, with Rev. W. F. Lane officiating.

Mrs. Luchsinger was born February 10, 1871, in Switzerland, and at the age of 12 she came to Davenport, la, with her parents. In 1903 she moved to Hornick, where she has since resided.

Surviving are four sons, John, Omaha, Neb.; Walter, Little Sioux, and Alfred and Harry, both of Hornick; three daughters, Nellie, Sioux City; Mrs. Verona Lundeen, Harris, la.; Mrs. Marie Skinner, Hornick; two sisters, Mrs. Ursula Helms, Shelby, la.; Miss Kate Saxer, Davenport; three brothers, John Saxer, Bruce, Wis.; Tony Saxer, Springfield, Ore.: Matt Saxer, Davenport. Interment was in the Holly Springs cemetery, with the Becker funeral home of Hornick in charge.
