Lewis LeMoine, 87, Cushing, died Sunday evening at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.

Mr. LeMoine was born in 1874 in Woodbury County, la., and married Florence Shepard. She died in 1945 at Bronson. Mr. LaMoine, a retired farmer, lived at Bronson, Hornick, Holly Spring and Cushing.

Survivors include four sons, Seth of Bronson, Lewis of Climbing Hill, Wilbur, of Kingsley, Ia.. and John of Odebolt, la.; five daughters, Mrs. John Gaffey of LeMars la., Mrs. Leo Dunnan of Sioux City, Mrs. Asa Deeds and Mrs. Grover HuckleDerry, both of Gushing, and Mrs. Cora Petersen of Denison. Ia.: two brothers, Joe of Sioux City and Laurence of Minneapolis: two sisters Mrs. Addie Copenhaver and Miss Esther LeMoine, both of Sioux City, and 14 grandchildren.

The body was taken to the W Harry Christy funeral home in Morningside.
