Funeral services for Orrel (Whitey) Kilzer, 57, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's United Church of Christ near Hornick. The Rev. Martin Knudson and the Rev. Henry Held will officiate. Burial will be in Willow Township Cemetery near Holly Springs with the Willman Funeral Home in Rodney, Iowa, in charge.

Mr. Kilzer died Sunday at his home.

He was born April 4, 1908, near Hornick. He married Vera Madsen Dec. 31, 1935, in Sioux City. Mr. Kilzer farmed near Hornick until his death.

He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and a past master of Amicable Lodge 289, AF&AM of Smithland.

Survivors include the widow, a son Ronald of Iowa City, and a brother Alvin of Smithland.
