Earl Benton Johnston, 53, a lifelong resident of the Hornick vicinity, died Saturday at his home near Hornick.

Surviving are his widow Minnie; two sons, Lloyd and Roy, both of Hornick; three daughters, Miss Edna Johnston of San Francisco, Mrs. Thomas Flewelling of Sioux City and Miss Mary Johnston of Hornick, and three sisters, Mrs. Lee Cox of Sioux City, Mrs. Ernest Schroeder of Harris, la., and Mrs. Roy McLarty of Kingsley, la.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p. m. Monday at the Hornick Methodist church. Rev. W. F. Lane will officiate. Burial will be in the Holly Springs cemetery under the direction of the Hilts funeral home of Sloan.
