John Douglas Bunch

Sioux City -- John Douglas Bunch, 74, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020 at his residence.

Per his wishes, John has been cremated and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home. Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

John was born Jan. 30, 1946 in Sioux City, the son of William and Pauline (Matney) Clift. He graduated from Sioux City Central. John married Betty Vanlamingham on Sept. 1, 1978 in Sioux City. He was employed by Larry Book Contracting for 15 years before starting J.B. Taxidermy, which he owned and operated for 32 years before retirement.

John is survived by his wife Betty Bunch; daughters Tammy Strong and Jammie Westerhoff; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson; sister Lila Anderson; and a half-brother Harry Foltz.
